AWH Client Testimonials

What our employees are saying about us:

  • Katie Haynes

    Senior New Claims Handler (Manchester)

Having worked for the company for a number of years, I have worked within various departments and have had exposure to a wide variety of case types undertaking administrative tasks to ensure that cases are dealt with to high standard from the outset. From my time with the firm I have found that there is a great atmosphere across the board especially within the new claims team , where there is real sense of team spirit and support from team managers and colleagues is readily available. Having worked for the firm for while I have seen the firm grow and diversify to offer a wider range of legal services and easily adapt to changes within the legal sector over the years to ensure the firm can continue to provide legal services that are centred around the customer experience. Within my current role as senior new claims handler I feel I am able to make positive contributions to the function of the department overall and provide new staff members within the department with support to ensure the team provides a good standard of service.

  • Daniel Naylor

    Solicitor (Blackburn)

I have been employed by AWH Solicitors for two years, my employment carrying over from another firm. From the outset, I found the senior management team to be supportive – I felt that I was being ‘listened to’ and that adequate support was being put in place for both me and for the benefit of the department as a whole. The culture within the company is refreshing and everyone pulls together to make working here worthwhile!

  • Mandy Thompson

Facilities Manager / IT Administrator (Blackburn)

I started working for AWH Solicitors following their acquisition of Roebucks Solicitors in August 2019. Since then I found myself working for a forward thinking company in a modern environment, doing a job I enjoy and working for a company who invest in their staff and where the management team lead by example.

  • Stacy Pimlott

    Solicitor / Team Manager (Manchester)

I have worked at AWH Solicitors now for just a little over 2 years. In that time I have been given opportunities to develop more so in my specialism and provided with the responsibility to train others and lead a team. The reassurance and support received from the management team is on a level which allows me to do my job to the best of my abilities. AWH is unique in it’s dynamic and all employees, be that if they are working in a different department or not, always help each other and there is always a friendly face wherever you look. I have had the opportunity to run some of the most advanced cases I have ran in my career, to date, and I do not believe that would have been possible if I didn’t have the support of the management team and their faith in my abilities to do so. The investment they place into their staff at progressing their careers and motivating them to achieve what they know they can achieve is welcoming. I genuinely enjoy working for a company who put their staff at the forefront of what we do as well as the clients and the happiness of the staff and the dedication to our work is a testament to this. It truly is a pleasure to work for a company such as this and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

  • Eleanor Wareing

    Reception Assistant (Blackburn)

I have worked for AWH now for a number of months and have to say, it’s a great place to work. It most certainly has a welcoming feel to it and the staff are very approachable and friendly and always on hand should you need advice. I find that management is easily accessible and they are always happy to listen to any suggestions or concerns that you may have. AWH is a forward-thinking company, who strives for excellent customer care and these qualities have most definitely been instilled in me.

  • Tom Xu

    Associate Solicitor – Litigation (Manchester)

Fee earners are given yearly targets but other than that are expected to take full ownership of their own cases, including in certain types of cases making decisions as to whether the company should take on the cases at all. My journey at AWH started with only having RTA files, but on the way have been given exposure to other areas of work, and now have a caseload which also contains EL, PL, Claims against the Police, and Housing Disrepair cases. I obtained a training contract here, during which time also gained exposure to Immigration and Family cases. I was also placed on secondment to be a team manager for more junior fee earners. My manager actively encourages and helps to advance my career progression, e.g. by providing exposure to other areas of work, and giving advice on what internal opportunities would be appropriate for me to apply for. In addition, the Housing Disrepair team also have a separate training manager, whose sole responsibilities are to develop knowledge within the team and to support fee earners on their cases.

  • Ashley Leung

    Ashley Leung, Solicitor (Manchester)

I have worked at AWH for a year and a half and is honestly the best place I have worked to date. Everyone here are experts in what they do and there is always plenty to learn from each other. Not only that but the culture is very friendly and supportive. There is an air of independence that is very refreshing. The management and leadership team are trusting and supporting of their employees. We are left to simply get on with our work and everyone knows to not to take advantage of that. AWH are also very accommodating and flexible, which has been especially highlighted since the global pandemic. Personally I joined AWH not just because I heard good things about them but on the promise that they will eventually train me on other, more complex areas of personal injury and I am pleased to say that they have been true to their word. This is not an ordinary law firm and I am glad that I applied to work here.
