At AWH Legal I developed and executed efficient systems in a highly competitive environment. Oversee the merger and acquisition of two companies financially into the team and implement new processes and policies to meet deadlines. Reduced costs by £300k p.a. across printers, IT, and stationery within two years and additionally, obtained £200K savings in general costs consistently through price and contract re-negotiation.
Before joining AWH Solicitors I started at Cedilla Systems as Finance & HR Manager and Company Secretary whilst during those 5 years the company had a headcount of 60 and was acquired within my first year by Qurius UK (Dutch Company). With this acquisition, I became Head of the UK reporting to the CEO and CFO of the EU Group (14 countries). Later was acquired by Prodware (French Company) so have had extensive coverage within M&A and communicating and reporting in different formats.
5 years prior, I was at Westbury Homes where I was the Financial Accountant for the Manchester Branch before being acquired by Persimmon homes where I found fraudulent activity and reported it to the company and Police which in turn recovered over £325K.
With regards to my qualifications I have a degree in Public Relations, FMAAT, Part qualified CIMA, Diploma in Commercial Management (ICM), Damelin Diploma in Accounting x 3 – First Class and Distinction, partial CIPD HR and Certifications in SRA, Fire Marshall.
